Born in Honolulu, she was a retired manager of the Credit Bureau of Hawaii-Hilo and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, Ikenobo Ikebana Society Honolulu Chapter, Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii and Panaewa Kumiai.
